# Overusage

> How bandwidth beyond your plan's transfer quota is billed.

Each plan includes a monthly outbound transfer quota. See [Virtual Machines](/compute/virtual-machines/overview) for the quota of each plan.

## Bandwidth Overuse

Bandwidth overuse is billed at \$0.02 per GB for the Tokyo location. For other locations, the rate is \$0.01 per GB.

| London | \$0.01 per GB |
| Frankfurt | \$0.01 per GB |
| Salt Lake City | \$0.01 per GB |
| Tokyo | \$0.02 per GB |

<Note>Only outbound transfer (egress) counts toward the quota. Inbound transfer (ingress) is free.</Note>

## Invoicing

Overuse is invoiced monthly. Go to **Billing** > **Invoices** to review your invoices.
