Windows Server images are available on plans with 2 or more vCPUs and deploy in 2–4 minutes, depending on the image size. Once the server status is Running, connect as Administrator over RDP.

Find Your Server’s IP Address

Go to Virtual Machines, click your server name. The IP address is on the detail page.

Connect

  1. Press Windows + R, type mstsc, press Enter
  2. Enter your server’s IP address
  3. Click Connect (accept any certificate warning)
  4. Log in as Administrator with the password from server creation

Troubleshooting

  • Verify the server status is Running
  • Verify the IP address is correct
  • RDP uses port 3389; make sure it is not blocked by your network
Username is Administrator. Use the password from server creation.
Disconnect and reconnect, or use the VNC Console on the server detail page.
