Open Deployment Page

Open the new server flow. After sign-in, the console opens Create Server. You can also select Virtual Machines in the sidebar and click Create Server.

Choose a Location

Select a current public deployment location:
  • North America: Salt Lake City
  • Europe: London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt
  • Asia Pacific: Tokyo
Availability can change as the platform expands. The deployment UI is authoritative for the tier and location combinations available at order time.

Select a Plan

Choose from the Cost Optimized, General Purpose, or High Performance tiers, then select a plan based on your resource needs. See plans for details.

Pick an Operating System

Select an OS image. Linux images are available on every plan. The dashboard offers Windows Server images only when the selected plan has 2 or more vCPUs. Image choices are catalog- and location-driven, so the deployment UI is authoritative.

Set Billing Cycle

Choose from the billing options currently shown in the console. Review the period, order total, and any applicable discount.

Select SSH Keys

For a Linux server, select one or more SSH keys to install on the server.

Set Hostname

Enter a name for your server.

Choose Payment Method

  • Visa or Mastercard
  • Cryptocurrency: complete checkout with one of the currently supported tokens or networks

Deploy

Review the Order Summary and click Deploy. Linux images deploy in under 30 seconds. Windows Server images deploy in 2–4 minutes, depending on the image size.

After Deployment

  1. Find your server’s IP address on the server detail page
  2. Connect to a Linux server via SSH or a Windows Server via RDP
